Amps

You’re welcome to bring your own amps if you like but good stage amps don’t usually record well: they’re often too loud and their speakers are too big. (Stairway to Heaven was recorded on a 6” speaker and Brian May recorded those big sounds with a tiny amp Vox built for him.)

Gibson Goldtone : a fabulous rich, golden toned valve amp for jazz or country, or just for a big clean sound with the best 3 spring reverb you’ve ever heard. You can switch between triode and pentode for odd or even order harmonics (we don’t understand it either but it sounds amazing.) Looks great too!
