This is a professional 88-note weighted hammer-action stage keyboard from the market leader with Roland’s ‘improved touch response’. It has 64 built-in tones including an amazing stereo grand piano, two electric pianos, a Hammond organ (each with 4 different variations) and lots of other sounds. But using its MIDI function we can emulate any instrument in software and use the keyboard to play it. The RD170 has half-pedal recognition for sustained playing just like an acoustic piano, Split and Layer functions for dividing the keyboard or playing two tones at once and can record and continuously play back your riffs or chords in any tone while you are playing live in any other tone.
